Background Information

Kimberly and Jeffrey are the founders of Eight Gate Wellness. Jeffrey one of our founders has been studying Asian Healing and Martial Arts since 1993. He integrates various methods to help others to bring balance and restore optimum health. He obtained a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas before receiving his Doctor in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine In San Diego, California . He is nationally certified by the NCCAOM in Oriental Medicine and registered with the State of Michigan.

Jeffrey also trained at the Acupressure Institute Berkeley, CA, where he studied Acupressure, Tuina, and Zen Shiatsu. His specialties include Pain Management, Tuina, Infertility, Facial Rejuvenation, and Pediatrics.

He has had training in the following various forms of Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan, Meditation, and Qi Gong. Since 1993, he has received training in the following:

-Xiao Jiu Tian Wu Dao (Little Nine Heaven Martial Arts) which includes (Nine Palace Fist/ Nine Chamber Fist, Swordsmanship, and Bone Marrow Washing exercises) (He is a 35th Generation Lineage Holder of this style studying under 2 teachers of this style)
